Our client is a reputable regional bank, who is currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team and support the business in HK.

about the job.

• provide legal advice to the senior management and develop the appropriate internal legal framework and guidelines
• Review and draft all types of corporate and commercial contracts, and deal with regulatory work
• provide legal advice on design and restructuring of new products and projects undertaken by the Bank
• maintain cordial relationships and keep legal update from HKMA, SFC and other regulators

skills & experiences required.

• qualified solicitor in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdiction with at least 7 PQE
• solid experience in financial institutions and sound knowledge in banking laws and regulations
• strong communication skills and problem solving skills
• good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
