Our client is a well-known financial institution, and they are seeking multiple senior-level Software Engineers with strong experience in Java and prior experience in developing systems for the financial services industry, such as electronic trading platforms or risk/compliance management systems etc..

- Analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions, and develop software components as defined by the SDLC
- Collaborate with other teammates/sub-teams to develop backend services and support new feature development and enhancements
- Participate in the evolution of architecture and delivery approaches within the development community
- Share knowledge of software engineering techniques with the rest of the team
- Ensure project delivery with good quality and adherence to agreed standards
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 7+ years of software development experience; with strong project experience in the banking/financial services/cryptocurrency/fintech industry (both in-house or through a tech consulting firm/service provider will also be considered)
- Strong knowledge of financial products and the business logic/operation either for the front office (such as low-latency trading platforms) or for the back office (such as compliance/risk management system)
- Experience in Java 8 (or above), Spring Boot, Redis, MS SQL, Oracle DB, etc.
- Proficiency in microservices, integration patterns, algorithms, SDLC, data structures, etc.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Ansible is a plus
- Proficient in spoken and written both Chinese (either Cantonese or Mandarin) and English is preferable; and currently based in Hong Kong with valid work permit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
