Senior HSE Manager - International MNC Company

  • 5-day work week
  • Attractive Remuneration Package
  • Based in HK, looking after China market

About the role

  • Lead head office team and local teams to develop, drive and implement regional HSE policies
  • Increase awareness of workplace EHS importance and drive a long-term EHS-awareness culture throughout the Company
  • To provide all EHS and environmental sustainability technical advices and guidance to head office as well as operation staffs (factories)
  • Develop, implement, evaluate and refine the short and long term EHS objectives and work plan, and effectively work with respective managers at each site
  • Conduct field inspection and audit to monitor plant safety standard on a regular basis
  • Arrange and coordinate all necessary H&S training sessions for all staffs to enhance their awareness of group H&S standard and requirement and share with them on a regular basis on the safety precaution and prevention measures
  • Report all incidents and high potential near misses in a timely manner according to company policy and report to head office with incident investigation and follow-up reports.
  • Work closely with CSR team to collaborate a better EHS working environment
  • Liaise with external parties including local government authorities and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant Health, Safety and Environment experiences in industries of manufacturing plants
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences, preferably in MNC environment with strong knowledge of global standard and practice of HSE management.
  • Prior Safety experience in mainland China factories
  • Registered Safety Officer holder is preferred
  • Fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills, confident to be communicate effectively with in-house stakeholders (headquarter, operation, frontline staffs)
  • Strong leader and a good team player
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Frequent travel to China is required
