We are partnering with a rapidly growing private Chinese trading firm to look for a Senior Finance Manager. This person will be overseeing all financial operations & owner's investment portfolio and driving financial strategy to support the company's growth.
Reporting to the executive director, you will be responsible to:
- Lead a small team of 3-5 people in Hong Kong and manage the finance operation of Hong Kong and oversea entities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes and provide strategic financial advice to shareholders and senior management.
- Manage cash flow, including monitoring liquidity needs and optimizing working capital.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Work closely with internal and external parties such as auditors, tax advisors and bankers
- Assist business owner on investment strategy and portfolio management as well as managing other investment projects
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, master degree would be an advantage
- HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent qualification is required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the finance field with at least 5 years of experience in a people management role
- Candidate with experience working in Chinese companies/ same family office with finance operation background would be a plus
- Candidate need to have experience working closely with the business owner with experience in assisting business owner’s personal/ family wealth management and investment portfolio
- Good command in Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and English is required
