Our client is a leading MNC sportswear brand with offices all over the global. Due to fast-growing business, currently they are hiring a Senior Cost Manager to join the team. This is a new headcount and the person will lead 5 people in the team.
about the job.
-manage a team of 5 costing engineers
... -plan and implement regional cost reduction strategies for overseas factories
-work closely with internal sourcing, production, quality, finance department
-provide advice on improving current costing methodology
-monitor production time lines and ensure cost targets are met
-ensure new vendors to achieve standardised costing methodology
skills & experiences required.
-bachelor degree in apparel engineering, industrial engineering, textiles
-10+ years of costing, apparel production management, manufacturing excellence experience in sportswear/ apparel/ sports equipment industry
-interested in being a leader and motivating a cross regional team for achieving targets
-GSD certification is preferred or GSD related experiences
