We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manger to play a key role in executing our strategic accounts sales strategy. This position will be responsible for selling solutions and rapidly growing SaaS revenue within the F500 account sector – both net new and expansion. A proven track record of delivering sales results with tenacity, accountability, high energy, integrity and discipline is crucial to success on the Enterprise Sales team. This high-profile role will work remote to cover assigned F500 accounts in southeast Asia and will report to the Regional Sales Manager in Melbourne.


  • Responsible for identifying, qualifying, prospecting and closing software/service revenue for both new and existing customers;

  • Bringing Procurement expertise into the Business Development Cycles of our regional team

  • Effectively communicate the company vision for CSR supply chain management and sell the solutions and services to new and existing F500 accounts;

  • Execute a solution-based sales process encompassing multiple groups within a strategic account

  • Define account strategies that enable sales velocity through controlled and well managed sales-cycles

  • Partner with the Inside Sales, Customer Success and other internal divisions to achieve rapid existing and target account growth

  • Builds relationships with C-Level executives (CPO, CSR, EHS, Supply Chain...) within assigned accounts;

  • Participation and involvement in applicable industry conferences both internal and external;

  • Interact with the current “Account Management” organization and all other colleagues in pursuit of overall customer satisfaction

  • Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge of the solutions;

  • Assume full responsibility of quota attainment as agreed to and communicated by the VP Sales

  • Coordinate and animate the APJ – ANZ collaboration and share Procurement and Solution expertise with colleagues in the region

  • Professionally report on KPI’s and progress of the Japan market to leadership


  • Around 7-10 years sales experience, selling enterprise software to F1000 companies

  • Experience selling SaaS, Platform or Cloud Computing solutions

  • Expertise in procurement processes

  • Thorough understanding of Sustainable Procurement or Responsible Sourcing

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to wide audience

  • Able to develop and execute sales strategies involving multiple stake-holders, with a natural ability to rapidly identify and form relationships with decision makers

  • Proven ability to engage, build and manage C-level and Executive relationships

  • Experience selling to Procurement, Supply Chain, CSR, Sustainability and/or EHS divisions.

  • Solid negotiation skills, and legal, business and financial acumen;

  • Exceptional presentation skills

  • Highly proficient in the use of or equivalent CRM tool

  • Highly professional written and oral communication skills required

  • Ability to work well in an international fast-growing environment

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is a MUST, additional languages will be a plus
