    Our client is a Global Data Science Consultancy Firm, with a strong footprint in the US, EMEA & APAC. Due to their recent expansion in Asia, they are looking for a "Senior Business Development Manager" in Hong Kong.

    This role is responsible for the business development on a regional scale in Asia. You will be a key member of the Hong Kong team and spearheading the growth of the firm in Asia as well as collaborating with international teams on global initiatives.

    • Generate new leads on key territories of development (industries, countries, etc.) based on a well-defined and owned sales strategy. Lead and drive the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing across Asia
    • Develop high quality proposals including coordinating content with consultants and direct contribution on content on commercial related sections
    • Coordinate RFI/RFP responses with prospect and internal resources till closing
    • Ensure every lead and opportunity is proactively maintained, tracked, and status communicated. Objectives include increasing win rate and sales velocity
    • Review top accounts and develop strategy to meet business goals and objectives
    • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with existing and potential clients, in coordination with consultants, to unlock up-sell and cross-sell opportunities


    skills & experiences required.

    • Proven background on winning sales pursuits and activating strategic alliances
    • A minimum experience of 8 years in a Business Development/Sales position. Regional experience is highly desirable
    • Top notch new business development skills: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, influencing senior decision makers, and ability to close deals
    • Experience in selling professional services (consulting services being a plus), and/or in advanced analytical solutions. A first level knowledge in data topics is preferable
    • Self-motivation, high energy, detailed-oriented mindset with a passion for strategic sales, identifying new opportunities and a tireless work ethic
    • Excellent command in business English (written and verbal). Proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
