about the company

A reputable and prosperous virtual bank is seeking for a Senior Audit Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. You will be a valued audit advisor of all departments across the bank.

about the job

You will:

  • report to the Audit Head in Hong Kong
  • work as a team to design and develop annual audit plan for the virtual bank
  • perform fieldwork, risk-based assessments and regulatory audits covering corporate and retail bank according to HKMA standards
  • evaluate the bank’s risk management framework and adequacy of internal controls
  • design and implement new controls to mitigate risks
  • communicate with other departments on the risk exposure, recommend necessary controls using consultative-approach
  • participate in post-audit follow-up, prepare audit reports for senior management review

skills and experience required

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or discipline
  • Qualified member in HKICPA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years’ audit experience gained from Big 4 and banking sector
  • Curious and passionate to work in the FinTech and virtual bank environment
  • Highly flexible, ability to “think outside the box” and problem-solve in a challenging set-up
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to recommend and deliver solutions to various business units
  • Strong commend in written and spoken English and Chinese
