... - Assist the Team Head in identifying business opportunities by mapping potential new clients and maintaining relationships with existing corporate clients in PRC, HK and potentially MNCs that with business flows in Asia.
- Engage in proactive marketing and prospecting efforts to target high-quality large and listed Chinese corporations, including central and provincial State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), industry-leading Private-Owned Enterprises (POEs), and ASEAN corporates.
Drive sales by acquiring new clients and facilitating refinancing within the existing portfolio. Evaluate and assess new business opportunities by actively promoting corporate banking services such as syndicated loans, club deals, bilateral lending, revolving loans, working capital loans, and with a strong emphasis on cash management products (CASA/corporate deposit), derivatives, and treasury products (FX/IRS).
- Prepare pitch-books, conduct credit analysis, and develop financial models for credit proposals to be presented in credit meetings, ensuring adherence to credit quality standards.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of China's business environment, economy, cross-selling techniques, relationship maintenance, account opening procedures, KYC (Know Your Customer), due diligence, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) protocols to ensure compliance and proper client onboarding procedures are followed.
skills & experiences required.
You will have 3-6 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in China/HK Large Corporates coverage business line and will be familiar with usual KYC and AML compliance credit mandates within Corporate Banking business. With respect to business needs, you will be proficient in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. You will be a team player who demonstrates a great sense of self-motivation and proactiveness to drive business on your own.
