About our client

Our client is a luxury building materials brand with manufacturing and operations functions in China and regional office in Hong Kong, covering Asia markets.

They are looking for a Sales Manager to be based in Hong Kong, overseeing markets including but not limited to Dubai, the Philippines and Vietnam (mostly, depends on projects) by managing direct sales.

You will manage existing markets and develop new projects by negotiation, strategic planning, project management, etc. with clients like interior designers, architects, property developers, etc.

Job Descriptions

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and to achieve targets and ensure consistent growth of business according to discussed Business Plan with Project Director
  • Research and analyze assigned markets (HK, Macau, Vietnam, Dubai, the Philippines, etc.), develop strategies with adaptations to fit consumers in specific markets
  • Constant updates on product and service knowledge to present to clients including architects, designers, contractors and end-consumers, etc.
  • Ownership of a clientele of architects, developers, contractor, designers
  • Increase exposure in A&D community by increasing awareness of brand and its specialty in hospitality, hotels, luxury residential villas, public space
  • Maintain strong and long lasting relationship with clients including architects, property developers, designers, etc. to prepare for collaborations in the future
  • Grow brand awareness and to ensure a proper product price positioning as per HQ guidelines (high end price, luxury goods)
  • Able to draw budget for each market and client
  • To ensure payments are on time and to agree to sales conditions by writing and in accordance to local Finance managers and HQ
  • Work closely with internal parties to support throughout the pre and post-sales cycle
  • Identify new sales lead and business opportunities in existing and new markets

Requirements

  • Market knowledge of areas including Hong Kong, Macau, preferably in the Philippines, Dubai and Vietnam
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in managing a network of architects, interior designers, property developers, etc.
  • Preferably from international luxury brand
  • Language ability in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
  • Strong relationships in the A&D communities and an existing client base
  • Result-oriented and sales driven, self-motivated problem solver, strong management and communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • In depth knowledge of the distribution network of glass, bathroom fittings, fixtures, furniture, ceramics/tiles, top level kitchen design, luxury interior decoration
