About our client

Our client is one of the biggest electronic component distributors globally.

They are looking for a Sales Director (based in Taipei, Taiwan) to manage Taiwan market, one of their biggest markets.

You will be leading sales team and other internal supporting functions to drive sales in Taiwan. You will also be responsible for identifying business opportunities, develop new business through directly selling to existing and new accounts.

The expectations of our client include talents who have handled electronic components previously, with a business size measured in USD billions (or half a billion USD); as well as an individual who is strong in leadership, ambitious in thriving (potential promotion to manage APAC markets) and fluent in English and Mandarin.

Job Descriptions

  • Strategic planning, driving initiatives and monitoring execution by leading Sales Team and relevant internal stakeholders to maximize sales achievements, profitability and growth
  • Ensure high productivity by managing analytics, improving processes, achieving KPIs and targets
  • Collaborate with vendors, clients and any relevant stakeholders to unify vision and directions, brand strategies and guidelines, so as to act as an advocate to represent involved parties
  • Build relationships with prospects, maintain strong relationships with existing clients and vendors, attend to customer enquiries and add value to the business by providing consultation with market insights on trends
  • Identify business opportunities and generate potential leads for Sales team to follow up on
  • Seek continuous improvement in all aspects including operations, internal systems and applications, team vision and collaboration, market knowledge, etc.


  • Degree holder, preferably in business related discipline
  • Must hold Taiwanese passport
  • Strong in leading a big team
  • Excellent business development skills and strong relationship with senior level clients
  • sales-driven, result-oriented and able to double business size in 1 to 2 years
  • A proven sales track record with at least USD$500M business turnover
  • Quick-learner in market trends in order for further development in APAC roles
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Able to travel when necessary
  • Excellent MS Office skills
