As a Safety & Quality Director, you will be responsible for:
-Oversee safety and quality assurance functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities and internal policies
-Provide guidance and leadership to the Safety and Quality department, mentoring the team
-Develop and maintain a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) and Maintenance Organisation Exposition
(MOE)
-Manage internal and external audit programs, addressing emerging concerns and ensuring compliance with regulations
-Manage Company Authorisation processes and provide training on quality and safety management systems
-Liaise with external aviation agencies, coordinate audits, and analyze root causes of findings
-Support operational managers in developing corrective and preventive actions and implementing risk assessments and
audits
-Promote safety throughout the organization by communicating safety-related information and providing training
-Review and update SMS training, monitor corrective actions, and enhance operational procedures-Maintain oversight of departmental audit plans and promote Quality Assurance awareness.
skills & experiences required.
-Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field
-Extensive experience in aviation safety and quality management
-Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including HKCAD, EASA, FAA, etc
-Proven track record in developing and implementing Safety Management Systems
-Excellent leadership and communication skills
-Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address safety and quality concerns
