about the job.
Responsible to assist in the formulation of the Sales and Promotional action plan for potential market
Establishes a regular call pattern for meeting with key stakeholders of potential markets
Engage in developing/reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various potential market segments, based on solid market feedback and conditions
Participates in trade shows, conventions and promotional events for the TT & MICE markets
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
Liaises closely with other departments within the hotel to maintain efficient and consistent communication of sales activities
Proactively sources new leads and develops existing warm accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments
Assists the DOS in developing strategic sales plans, detailing sales distribution plans, trade shows and other promotional opportunities in order to meet the hotels overall strategic plan
Effectively measures and reports on a timely basis, sales results with updated strategies and competitor intelligence to DOS
Maintains regular contact with key contacts in the appropriate market segments including site inspections and lead calls

Diploma or Degree in Hotel or Tourism Management
At least 3 year’ experience of relevant working experience
Well versed with market situation and able to react promptly with tactics
Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing, Opera will be an asset
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
