Risk Director

Our client is a sizable firm recognized for its commitment to excellence and innovation. They are currently seeking a Risk Director to lead their risk management efforts and drive strategic initiatives to mitigate potential challenges and enhance operational resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and prioritize risks
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks
• Manage the ERM framework and monitor and report on key risk indicators to senior management and the board of directors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk management practices are integrated into business processes
• Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management
• Lead the development of crisis management plans and response strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 12 years of experience in risk management or related fields with experience in working with sizable corporate
• Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or other relevant certifications preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels
