Our client is a reputable retailer that offers premium sportswear and equipment to not only first timers but also professional athletes to help them reach their full potential. They cover basketball, soccer, marathons, rugby, tennis, track & field, netball, volleyball and many more... In order to cope with their local business expansions, they are looking for a seasoned Retail Manager to join and maximize the team's potential.

about the team.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be leading multiple departments including Retail Ops, Merchandising, Marketing and eCommerce. You are expected to perform regular store visits to understand the challenges as well as customer feedback.

Formulate, develop and implement strategic business plans and ensure guidelines and procedures are met at retail and corporate level to maximize commercial return
Plan retail, operations, marketing and merchandising initiatives, including but not limited to visual merchandising, stock take, trainings, in store events, assortment selection, new product launch and etc
Come up with incentives to drive sales team to reach commercial objectives
Provide coaching and training which encourage career development from within
Create business analysis reports with customer and market insights for MD's review
Set up new operations and formulate operations plan to ensure successful new stores opening within required timeline and budget
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance

skills & experiences required.

7+ years solid general/retail operations management experience within the retail/apparel sector
Knowledge of business process and functions (Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Operations, Admin etc)
Strong financial and analytical skills
Problem solving aptitude
Outstanding organization and leadership skills
Native in Cantonese, fluent in E nglish is required due to the team mix you will be managing
