about the company.Our client has a strong presence in the fashion industry with multiple contemporary and luxury brands in the group. The company is a fashion, lifestyle, brand management and distribution company based in Hong Kong and China. They recently collaborated with a designer brand to leverage the group's unique expertise to penetrate the retail industry as it reaches the Chinese millennial audience. As a result, they are looking for a Retail Manager to join the team and bring in new inspirations for their HK and China business. about the team.Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Retail, you will be expected to travel between HK and cities in China and work with the Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, HR teams. You are responsible for building and growing the China fashion market for the brands you manage. about the job.
  • Responsible for sales and operations for the brands assigned in your region in HK and China
  • Plan and execute pre- store opening preparation including recruitment, interviewing and training
  • Motivate Store Managers and Sales Associates on achieving sales KPIs and delivering excellent customer service
  • Lead Store Managers on maintaining store operations efficiency
  • Work with training team on creating outstanding customer shopping experience and increase conversion and bounceback rate
  • Review and manage inventory with Merchandising Team to ensure stock level and that action plans are implemented for slow moving items
  • Maintain positive relationship with landlords and shopping malls to ensure company's best benefit is safeguarded
  • Analyze sales performance and provide insights for senior management's review

skills & experiences required.
  • 6+ years of experience in retail management, experience in the frontline will have advantage
  • Experience managing retail brands/stores in China is a MUST
  • Proven track record in driving sales under high pressure
  • Great command in Mandarin is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Frequent travel to PRC is required
