Research Assistant, Molecular Genetics

Our client is a fast growing disgnostic business in the testing & diagnostics space. With growing demands both locally and regionally, they are currently seeking a Research Assistant or the business, responsible for overall lab operations across all lab settings.


Responsibilities:

  • working closely with Lab Manager, Supervisor and MLTs in daily operation
  • maintain laboratory daily operation including maintenance and calibration, inventory management, lab records management etc
  • performing molecular testing accroding to standstad operating procedures.
  • assist in laboratory accreditation preparation including protocol writing and carrying out validation etc.
  • assist in setting up the molecular lab
  • asstist in R&D research & pipeline development


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Life Science or related field
  • prior experience in molecular genetics is a plus
  • part I/II Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist is a plus
  • fast-paced, agile, result-driven and a team player
