Research Assistant, Molecular diagnostics

Our client strives to make the most disruptive healthcare inventions widely accessible to the communities. Striving for precise results is always their first priority. They are currently looking for a Research Assistant, Molecular diagnostics to assist routine laboratory operations and support in different research and development events.

Responsibilities

  • Support in research and development events
  • Perform molecular testing based on standard operating protocols
  • Work closely with Lab Manager, Supervisor, and MLTs in daily activities
  • Maintain routine laboratory operations including equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and lab records management.
  • Assist in laboratory accreditation preparation including protocol writing and carrying out validation
  • Assist in R&D research & pipeline development


Requirements

  • Degree holder or High Diploma in Life science or related field
  • Part I/II Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist is a definite advantage
  • Experience in molecular genetics would be highly desirable
  • Responsible, Self-motivated, Excellent team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
