- Assist Senior Relationship Managers/Team Head in identifying business opportunities through new client mapping and maintaining relationships with existing corporate clients.
- Conduct self-driven marketing and prospecting activities targeting local corporates in Hong Kong, specifically SMEs and lower mid-cap companies.
- Focus on generating sales from New-To-Bank clients and refinancing opportunities within the existing portfolio.
- Evaluate and explore new business opportunities by promoting and selling corporate banking services, including mortgage-backed lending, term/revolving loans, trade financing, bilateral lending, construction loans, working capital loans, and cross-selling of cash management products (CASA), corporate deposits, derivatives, treasury products, I&Is, etc.
- Prepare pitch-books, conduct credit analysis, and develop financial models for credit proposal write-ups to be presented in credit meetings, ensuring high credit quality standards.
- Possess thorough knowledge of account opening procedures, KYC (Know Your Customer), due diligence, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations to ensure compliance protocols are followed during client onboarding.
skills & experiences required.
You will have 6+ years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Enterprise / Commercial Banking and will be familiar with usual KYC and AML compliance and credit mandates within Business Banking business. With respect to business needs, you will be proficient in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. You will be a team player who demonstrates a great sense of self-motivation and proactiveness to drive business on your own.
