As a R&D Manager, you will
...
-Lead the Food Safety management program to implement, document and monitor the system
-Manage total product quality testing and inspection plans, for internal testing and external laboratory testing
-Lead colleagues to investigate and determine root cause for Quality and Food Safety related deviations/rejections and non-conformities
-Conduct relevant training and education on quality and food safety topics
-Perform market research and analysis with the objectives of identifying product opportunities
-Assist in conceptualising product ideas, design and develop new product/ product range and ensure the efficient and profitable management of product development process
-Manage the product development process for new lines and the improvement process for existing products
-Provide technical supports on processes to ensure the final products are safe and meet the required quality
skills & experiences required.
-University degree in food science or related disciplines
-Minimum 6 years of experience in food industry
-Familiar with Japanese Cooking and Eating Tradition is an advantage
-Knowledge in food production and processing
-Pragmatic, able to build consensus and facilitate change across organizational lines
-Able lead, guide and manage a small team with effective communication skills
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills
