about the company.

My client is the Hong Kong technology arm of an international company which operates in a unique niche market, having a worldwide turnover of more than USD $50 billion per annum. about the job.
  • Doing feature enginering using historical data to improve statistical accuracy on the betting model.
  • Work on investment strategies to optimize parameters and develop new risk management techniques.
  • Conduct quantitatvie research on investment strategies.
  • Improve existing predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Using trading systems and enhancing strategy development.
skills & experiences required.
  • Bachelors Degree or above in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics etc.), PhD Preferred.
  • Good coding skills. Programing proficiency in Python for research.
  • Experience developing software tools to simplify research work, data visualization and back testing.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a quantitative role.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research utilizing large data sets.
  • Experienced with quantitative strategy development and risk management techniques.
  • Strong mathematical skills and experience in using machine learning algorithms.
