job description

Our Client is a leading EU supermarket chain with buying office in Hong Kong, they are looking for a quality management & production support expert to join their team.

about the job.

  • Conduct assessments, pilot run and in-line inspections in factories

  • Ensure production occurs in line with the company's sourcing policies, and safety, legislative and quality related requirements

  • Support sufficient lead times for factories where product is placed.

  • Perform unannounced audits and inspections when required

  • Supervise a team of QA/QC inspectors in China
skills & experiences required.

  • 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC, with experience managing QC inspectors. More experienced candidates will be considered for senior position.

  • Extensive experience and understanding of either 1) SDA/EE/Hi-Tech; or 2) Household/Furniture/DIY products

  • Previous working experience in sizable buying office(s)

  • Degree/Diploma in Quality management, Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering or any related field

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English

  • Strong in project management, MS office and Lotus Notes

  • Travel to China required
