We are currently collaborating with a prominent institution in Hong Kong on a project that entails the development of a hotel, office space, and other facilities. Our client is experiencing rapid business expansion, and as a result, they are actively seeking a QS Manager to join their team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to their ongoing growth and success.
About the Role
As the QS Manager of the China project team, you will have the responsibility of providing full-cycle QS services. This includes overseeing both pre-contract and post-contract administration, such as tendering, interim payment management, valuation, cost estimates, cost planning, and cost analysis.In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be required to work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration. This may involve liaising with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather relevant information and provide accurate cost analysis.
Furthermore, part of your role will involve managing external consultancies or consultants who may be engaged for specialized expertise or additional support in certain areas of the project. It will be your responsibility to ensure effective communication, monitor their performance, and ensure that their deliverables align with project requirements.
About the Requirement
- Bachelor Degree or above in Quantity surveying or equivalent;
- Membership of HKIS / RICS is highly preferred
- min. 5 years years experience in QS field, had both experience in Client and consultancy side is highly preferred
- Good Chinese, English and computer skills
- Immediately available is highly preferred
