about the company.

Our client is a global toys retailer with a sourcing office in Hong Kong. They are looking for a QA & International Compliance Officer to join their team.
about the job.
  • To managed and ensure the design, safety & quality of the products are up to the standard
    and able to comply with international requirement.
  • Managed the setup of the sealing form records, review red seal samples and assisted in
    approval of green seal and gold seal samples.
  • Confirmed the product type in the global test certificate database and assisted in approval of
    test requirements of different countries.
  • Managed the packaging brief and conduct packaging review of artwork.
  • Conduct test report review, approval & follow-up for failed items.
  • Review and approval of technical file of the product and ensure it complied with the
    requirement.
  • Review inspection reports, confirm the shipment authorization and identify failure / pending
    issue in the report.
  • Managed the international compliance process, ensure the process is on-schedule and
    identify any risk or special requirements of different countries.
  • Review compliance document and confirmation of content and position of over-labels to
    different countries according to the requirement.
  • Assisted in development of the compliance knowledge and standard of new product type.

skills & experiences required.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and International Compliance of Toys
    sector.
  • Knowledge of standards and compliance requirement, such as EN71, EN62115,
    REACH, RoHS, ISO8124, IS9873, JFSL, GB6675 & CCC etc.
  • Knowledge in supply chain, product development and root cause analysis
  • Microsoft Office & Excel skill set and experience in using merchandising
    management systems,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, spoken Cantonese and
    Mandarin.
  • Risk assessment abilities to identify potential risks.
  • A “Can-Do” attitude with professional and logical approach for solving problems.
  • Good team player with good communication skills
  • Works independently under pressure with effective time management.
