Our client company is owned by one of the largest private equity companies with a strong and healthy financial background. Our client’s majority investment is in redevelopment & renovation projects. The company is known for its energetic culture and stable project pipeline. To support its expansion across the Hong Kong market, they are calling for a Project Management specialist to join their team as a
Project Manager for the existing and upcoming projects.
About the Role
Directly reporting to the Executive Director, you will be working closely with the design consultancies & contractors for the existing & upcoming projects. You can expect your major responsibilities to be the following:
- Ensures that construction assumptions and project risks have been identified and addressed in our project underwriting.
- Oversee project design and preparation of construction drawings.
- Oversee preparation of required regulatory submissions and address any questions or objections received from the relevant authority.
- Conducting research & feasibility studies to explore the potential of future development in HK and overseas
- Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders including but not limited to government authorities, consultants, contractors, internal departments
- Offer technical advice and conduct research on regulations and requirements of overseas new development projects
About the Requirement
- 8 to 10 years of experiences in project management experiences within client/ consultancies and contractors
- Solid Hong Kong local project experiences, preferably with track record in delivering mid to large-scale A&A/ fit-out/ conversion projects will be advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different stakeholders
- Degree holder in E&M/ building services engineering/ Building Surveying/ Architecture or related field
- Professional membership in MHKIE, MCIBSE, MHKIS, MRICS or equivalent is preferred but not essential
- Fluent in both English and Cantonese is a must
