    About the company

    With a long history and reputable names in Hong Kong, Greater China and across the globe, we are currently representing a Fortune Global 500 company to invite technical background candidates to join their well-established team. With year-on-year business growth, they are looking for a Project Director to join the team and support their newest project in Hong Kong.

    About the role

    As the Project Director, you will be leading one of their Project Team and responsible for overseeing the railway related projects for the Hong Kong office. You will also need to

    • Lead, plan, direct the project team members for coordinating pre-construction activities and procurement of trade contractors and suppliers
    • Manage the project team for co-ordination on development of all works programs, procurement schedule and construction methodology, contract packaging, value management exercise, risk management, value engineering exercises and all tender documentation
    • Communicate with the senior leadership team and internal, external stakeholders to keep the projects aligned with their goals

    Requirements

    • Degree holder in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Transport Engineering
    • Qualified member of a professional institution e.g. HKIE or CEng in related disciplines is an advantage
    • Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in the Engineering field with at least 8 years at the managerial level
    • Prior experiences working in consultancy or contractor environment advantageous
    • Strategic, strong team leadership, and excellent stakeholder management & client interfacing skills
    • Good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good common of English and Mandarin
