product manager - ai / data science / machine learning in Hong Kong

One of the world’s largest digital bank with more than USD 7billion profit last year is looking to set up a technology business in Hong Kong to cater to their international business clients.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, The Product Manager will act as an Individual Contributor and Subject Matter Expert within the technology business, he/she will be responsible for the full circle of product development/enhancement, including but not limited to identifying, analyzing, making sure business requirements make sense, and provide technical advice to the R&D / Engineering team. Work along with other senior management to implement customer engagement strategies while improving and enhancing the customer journey and user experience. The Product Manager will need to understand the data platforms provider in the local/international market and generate market insight to work with hardware engineers, data scientists, financial analysts to find opportunities, develop them into business cases.

Requirement:

• Over 5 years work experience as a technical product manager (experience in the software / SaaS / DaaS industry a major plus)
• Hands-on product management experience during all phases of the development cycle
• Knowledge and Exposure in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Complex Modelling and understanding of the data service platform/business intelligence platform in the market
• Candidates coming from technical software development or data science background are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills in Mandarin, and English language
