about the company.Found in Hong Kong, our client is a well-established manufacturer within home appliances industry that provides OEM and ODM solutions to clients across the globe. With the recent launch of their own brand products within medical device field, they are currently inviting a Product Development Director to join their team. about the team.All located in Mainland China, there are 4 factories with over 4000 people to support the operation of the business. You will serve as the head of the R&D team. about the job.As the Product Development Director, you are responsible for- Oversee overall product development plans for OEM/ ODM and own brand products across home appliances/ small domestic appliances and consumer goods fields.- Engage in the end-to-end product development process from research, product concept generation to mass production.- Lead the R&D team to ensure products are developed on schedule and meet the company standard.- Set up performance standard to monitor and constantly improve the performance of the team.- Provide guidance and support to the R&D team.- Closely work with other teams including but not limited to sales, quality, marketing and engineering teams to develop products of good qualities and eventually generate sales volume. skills & experiences required.To be successful at this position, you need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related discipline.
- At least 15 years of solid experience in home appliances/ Small Domestic Appliances manufacturing industry.- Experience in working within a OEM/ ODM with own private label business is highly preferred.- Strong end-to-end product development experience from research, product concept, prototyping all the way to mass production.- Good command in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
