    Our client is a remarkable Chinese investment bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong. They have recently set up their global office in Hong Kong and would like to hire one more person to assist in the the team. This is a new headcount.

    about the job.
    As a Procurement Associate, you will
    -Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with the project requirement and a time schedule
    -Liaise with project team and external vendors to ensure that the requirements are met within budget
    -Manage full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc)
    -Issue and process of purchase order in accordance with company policies and procedures
    -Expedite order, monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
    -Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

    skills & experiences required.
    -Degree in any discipline
    -At least 6 years of working experience in a purchasing/procurement role; preferably in a financial institution
    -Prior experience in indirect procurement is high preferred, particularly in the IT/professional services category
    -Good command of spoken English and Mandarin
    -Strong communication skills with can-do attitude
