My client is a leading financial institution with business accross the regions. They are looking for an experienced payroll candidate to join their team as payroll manager about the job.
  • To be a team member of Human Resources Department.
  • To manage the execution of all payroll processes, including monthly payroll, final payments, ad hoc payments and ORSO/MPF contributions processing.
  • To prepare payroll related and compliance reports.
  • To monitor timely and accurate submission of various tax reports and the annual salary tax returns to the Inland Revenue Department.
  • To closely coordinate with mainland and overseas counterparts on payments and tax reporting of secondees.
  • To handle system development projects and enhancement tasks for operational needs and process improvement.
  • To undertake ad hoc projects and assignments.
skills & experiences required.
  • University graduate, preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience in payroll and salaries tax, preferably gained from the banking/financial services industry.
  • Solid experience in supervising a payroll team.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related legislations.
  • Sound computer skills with experience in PeopleSoft an advantage.
  • A good team player, logical, detail-oriented and well organized
  • Good communication skills and risk awareness.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
