Our client is one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. They have a chain of sophisticated and high-end restaurants. They are currently looking for a Pastry Chef with the budget of 40k per month. Candidates from prestigious clubhouses, hotels or restaurants with exposure in other APAC countries other than Hong Kong are preferred.
  • • Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
    • Assist in the planning and management of the day to day operations of the kitchens
    • Develop new dessert and pastry products
    • Executing new menu development, plating guides, recipe costings and tastings
    • Maintain absolute highest quality standards. Daily monitoring of all products for quality and quantity.
    • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
    • Following all safety and sanitation policies when handing food and beverage.
    • Assist in the recruitment and training of all new Pastry Cooks


  • • At least 8 years of experience in prestigious clubhouses, hotels or restaurants
    • Previous experience in a Michelin Rated restaurant preferred
    • Expertise in food product, presentation, quality and preparation along with menu concept and design
    • Working experience in other Asia Pacific region other than Hong Kong
    • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Executive Sous Chef
