The Role:

Our client is a leading Financial Service Company who is looking for a challenge-driven individual to join their team in the position of Operations Manager to handle the daily F&B operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing necessary strategies to ensure the Business achieves its obligations, financial targets and key performance indicators set by the Management team. This will include managing all aspects of operational delivery including, client interface management, client support services, establish and maintain processes and procedures of F&B and event management, staffing management, support communicational and marketing, manage resources for delivering on assemblies, products and services efficiently.

Other key responsibilities include: (but not be limited to)

  • Oversee all food and beverage, catering functions
  • Safety and health management
  • Developing and maintaining grower and community relationships
  • Prepare for monthly report, finance report, business plan , staffing reports etc
  • Ongoing implementation of process improvement initiatives
  • Establish and administer annual budgeting and planning process for the business line
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of business lines financial performance against budget, financial and operational targets.
  • Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
  • Oversee and monitor cash flow for the business line.
  • Review and approve all contracts and purchase orders as per authority matrix
  • Review and approve quotations and responses to tenders in conjunction with the Projects Delivery and bids teams.
  • Maintain control, monitoring and registering of operational documentation and all technical queries and requests for information
  • Build a knowledge base of operational matters

The ideal candidate will be a management professional who possesses significant operational experience, with key responsibilities across F&B, financial, safety, people management, driving efficiency and stakeholder engagement. To meet the ever-changing demands of a competitive market, you will be able to quickly adapt to change whilst fostering strong stakeholder and customer relationships.

Knowledge of F&B, Hospitality , practices and methods will be highly regarded.
