Randstad is working with one of the well-known financial institutions that is currently looking for a Mobile Team Lead specializing in mobile application development for Android Platform. The right candidate will lead one of the teams with 15-20 FTEs for product development.

- Lead the development team and participate in architecture design, and component design implementation planning for the mobile applications that support the businesses
- Involve in managing the entire SDLC, including development, testing, code reviews, and product release
- Research and apply new technologies such as development tools or software development methodologies based on industry best practices to meet customers' needs and expectations
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders and other development teams and provide workable solutions for upcoming new projects
- Set coding standards and software frameworks to improve team productivity
- Provide mentoring and coaching to the development team
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in mobile application development and 3+ years of experience in leading/mentoring a development team (ideally with 10+ FTE or above); IT consulting firm/service provider/banking/financial services/fintech background is a plus
- Solid experience in native mobile application development and deployment for Android platform with Java/Kotlin; prior experience in hybrid application development with React Native/Flutter would be advantageous but not a must
- Prior experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline within the team and ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all the solutions delivered
- Good understanding of TDD/BDD practice and functional programming
- Proficient in spoken and written both Chinese and English; and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit is a must
