Our client is a well-known buying office with good reputation in the industry with fun and dynamic working culture. The managed to maintain a highly comeptitive revenue during pandemic. They are currently looking for a Merchandising Specialist to join their team.

about the job.
As a Merchandising Specialist (Seasonal), you will be responsible for

  • Handling sourcing activities, placing orders with suppliers and sourcing new vendors as required
  • Conducting research and visiting new and existing manufacturers and factories
  • Carrying out market research and managing merchant visits, vendor visits and exhibitions
  • Organizing buying trips and coordinating with manufacturers on buying calendars, merchandise categories, and production schedule
  • Performing quality control, ensuring their quality and packaging are up to company standard
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

skills & experiences required.

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • 6 years of experience in sourcing, particularly in home goods
  • Candidates who has experience in buying offices is a plus
  • Candidates who speaks fluent English is highly preferred
  • Candidates who has experience in managing vendors from China and SEA
  • Candidates who has global markets exposure
