  • Our client is a EU buying office. As a young buying office, they have been growing rapidly and therefore would like to expand their HK office.

  • There are 15-20 people in Hong Kong office.
about the job.As a merchandising executive (tableware), you are repsonsible for
  • Provide the source and offer of seasonal products to contribute to maximize the profit.
  • Execute the sourcing strategies with alignment to the need of EU customers.
  • Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from buyer's brief to shipment.
  • Organize buying trips to visit suppliers for product selection when needed.
  • Gain a good understanding of market trends and proactively react and identify new product opportunities.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with internal ethical, technical and quality standards.
skills & experiences required.To succeed at this position, you need
  • At least 4 year merchandising/ sourcing experience within household/tableware categories for a EU buying office.
  • Knowledge of production and product development processes of seasonal products.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with overseas buyers, suppliers and factories to follow up with the merchandising process.
  • Adaptability to join a small and growing company
  • Good communication skills in both English, Mandarin and Cantonese
