about the company.
  • With over 1000 staff in their EU headquarter, our client is currently expanding their Hong Kong buying office and therefore would like to invite a merchandising professional to join their team.
about the team.
  • There are around 15-20 people in Hong Kong office where most of them are under merchandising team. The team is very young and energetic. You will be responsible for, specifically, tableware products for EU retail business.
about the job.
  • Work closely with the buying team to source and develop tableware products which increase GMV and market share, as well as ensuring customers' requirements are fulfilled.
  • Negotiate price to achieve highest profit margin while aligning company quality standards and EU compliance standards.
  • Review existing product portfolio and offer new sources of products as alternatives.
  • Handle end-to-end sourcing process from product development to shipment independently.
  • Ensure purchased items and orders are shipped on time with good quality by working closely with the quality team, supply chain team and suppliers.
skills & experiences required.
  • Associate degree or above in related disciplines with at least 5 year working experience in sourcing tableware products for EU buying office
  • Strong product knowledge in tableware
  • End-to-end sourcing experience from product development to shipment
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (i.e. full English interview)
  • Immediately available is HIGHLY preferred
