My client is one of the largest institutions in Hong Kong. They have projects in cities across the Greater Bay Area . My client is now seeking a Director MEP for their diversity-focused projects in China.

about the job.

As the director of MEP service, you need to oversee and assist the property team with planning, negotiations, and statutory documentation submissions. Coordinating with government authorities, consultants, suppliers, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal departments. And reviewing construction plans, monitoring site progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Auditing tenderers' documents, analyzing monthly progress reports, and identifying construction malfunctions are essential. Also you need responding to unforeseen orders and technical issues, managing final quality inspections, and working with various departments during the Defects Liability Period to rectify remaining issues post-handover.

skills & experiences required.

• Degree in Building service engineering
• At least 15 years of engineering and had full cycle project experience in China, had facilities management experience is preferred
• Knowledgeable in design techniques, construction sequencing and detailed knowledge of PRC statutory processes.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Willing to be based in China
