Marketing Promotions Director, HK & China | shopping mall, property developer

The company is a sizable property developer headquartered in Hong Kong with ongoing real estate projects and developments in both Hong Kong and China. With stable business growth and new establishments, the company is looking for a Director to lead the whole Marketing & Promotions function to lead the marketing activities of its leading shopping malls in both Hong Kong and China.

Report to the Director of Sales & Marketing
Lead multiple Marketing & Promotions teams for different shopping malls of over 40 people
With exposure to Hong Kong, Greater Bay Area and China
Join a fast-moving and dynamic working environment

about the job.

Oversee branding strategies for all shopping malls and ensure they are aligned with the corporate brand
Develop, manage and control the annual marketing budget for the Marketing & Promotions function
Define, monitor and evaluate KPIs and ROI targets for marketing campaigns, making timely adjustments and remedy
Oversee all-rounded integrated marketing and communications strategies and action plans
Oversee the annual online and offline branding and advertising campaigns, including traditional advertising (e.g. TVC, OOH media, print, etc.) and BTL (e.g. social media contents, EDM, product flyers and brochures, etc.)
Monitor and control the quality of the deliverables, ensuring commercial values brought by the promotional activities
Oversee year-round events, festive and promotional activities
Oversee social media strategies across different platforms (e.g. facebook, Instagram, Wechat, etc.)
Develop and lead the annual digital media calendar and strategies, social media community engagement and content creation, digital banners, paid ads, etc.
Oversee public relations (e.g. media relations, media coverage, community relations, KOL, etc.) strategies
Partner and work closely with advertising agencies / vendors to ensure quality delivery of campaigns
Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Leasing, Operations, Finance, etc.) for close and smooth internal partnership

skills & experiences required.

Degree holder of Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Creative or related discipline
15+ years of marketing experience in sizable corporates
Knowledge and previous exposure to the property / retail industry are a MUST
Knowledge of the retail / shopping mall landscape in China
Experience in managing sizable marketing budgets / P&L
Excellent big team management and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
