Our client is a well-known FMCG company with a great product portfolio. Currently they are hiring a Regional Logistics Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone who 3PL management & leadership experience. Prior knowledge in covering China market is a plus.
about the job.
As a Logistics Manager, you will
-Lead relationships with 3PLs for warehousing and freight activities
-Play a key role in all operational tendering activities, subsequent analysis and recommendations to the business
-Collaborate with regional finance and operations teams to develop new budgets
-Participate in 3PL contract negotiations to define rates and service level agreements
-Lead monthly and quarterly review processes with 3PLs
-Challenge current 3PL practices to drive improvements
skills & experiences required.
-Degree holder from a recognisable university
-Min 8 years of experience in logistics, with 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
-Candidates from consumer goods industry/FMCG background are highly preferred
-Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
-Prior experience in working in multinational companies
-Strong leadership & negotiation skills; Able to motivate the teammates
