Our client is an investment management firm founded by successful property developer and entrepreneur based in Ireland. They aim to deliver high quality property solutions across all sectors of the property market including private residential, social housing, commercial real estate, nursing homes and renewable energy. As part of expansion of their business in APAC, a pioneering and outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team and support the regional business operations in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

You will report directly to the CEO of APAC, and be responsible to:

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial and corporate contracts
  • Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues
  • Update and manage status reports
  • Take full responsibility in managing clients’ visa application, including filling out appropriate forms and collecting documents necessary to apply for relief
  • Liaise with immigration authorities, law firms, agencies and other stakeholders
  • Compose correspondence/ reports as required by the management

Skills & Experiences Required

To be successful in this role, you must possess

  • At least 2 years of PQE
  • Knowledge and experience in business immigration is an advantage but not a must
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with top executives
  • Strong language skills in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is required
  • Proactive, keen interest to learn and willing-to-do mindset
