job description

about the company. My client is a top-tier investment bank, who is looking for a Legal Counsel to support the US capital market business about the team. Reporting to Head of Legal, you will join a well established Legal team about the job.
  • You will be providing all kinds of legal advice and support to investment banking department，primarily supporting ECM and M&A business
  • You will be monitoring and advising business and management on the related legal and regulatory issues involved
  • You will supervise external counsels’ works as well as developing/ maintaining relationship with them
  • You will be assisting with trainings and preparation of templates/ policies/ procedures/ memo
  • Ad hoc assignment from Head of Legal
skills & experiences required.
  • You need to have 4-7 years’ PQE gained from leading US law firms or international banks
  • Exposure to US capital markets, IPO and other investment banking transactions is required
  • Excellent legal drafting and communication skills and high integrity and professional ethics
  • Mandarin & English (written and spoken) skills are required; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior personnel of all relevant functions.
