Our client is a renowned multinational company and a leading player with robust business growth across the region. They are seeking a Legal Counsel to station in Hong Kong and report to the Group Head of Legal.

Job responsibilities:

Tackle a wide range of global disputes, including commercial and employment issues.
Formulate dispute resolution strategies in line with business needs in various jurisdictions.
Coordinate with international teams on various tasks, including discovery assignments.
Liaise on internal approvals, execution, and filing of related documents in relevant laws and regulations.
Analyze legal issues and issues related to commercial risks, present clear recommendations and assure legal compliance.
Keep abreast of all new laws and regulations that may have implications to the company.
Liaise with external legal counsel and / or other intermediaries.

Job requirements:

Hong Kong or common law jurisdictions qualified lawyer.
At least 3 years of post qualified experience gained in private practice and/or in-house.
Extensive background in Litigation.
Team player, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
Good problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
