job description

Our client, a well established global MNC with a track record of success within the retail and luxury goods sector, is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. You will be supporting the backbone of business by providing technical support to internal users across Hong Kong and the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the first point of contact for internal end users seeking technical assistance over the phone / email
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates

Requirements

  • High proficiency in providing remote support under a call centre / helpdesk environment
  • Good understanding on Microsoft systems and PC operating systems
  • Familiar with up-to-date IT infrastructure and technology
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Able to work indecently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team goals
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
