Job Description

Directly report to IT Project Management Lead and is responsible for leading, managing assigned IT Projects. Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the project charter and scope, and ensure delivery of the solution to schedule, budget and scope

• Perform the relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management.

• Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control.

• Able to collaborate effectively with Global/Regional PM and IT team to implement projects.

• Accountable for the IT application security and policy compliance requirements when delivering projects.

• Work together with vendor and Global/Regional IT teams to produce and refine IT Standards/processes/procedures that comply with IT application development standard/policy requirements.

• Provide support to change management processes for project implementation.

• Proactively anticipates problems before they occur; identifies possible root cause; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution.

• Provide required training and support to other peer teams for newly designed and implemented solution.

• Responsible for smooth transition to operational team and obtain necessary signed off.

• Able to be manage all assigned IT projects and provide inputs to critical incidents where necessary.

• Interface and communicate with project team, management, stakeholders and software vendor to enable successful and timely completion of the pro ject.

Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/Computer Science field and/or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in managing and leading application projects and provide appropriate level of guidance and oversight to ensure successful deliverables.


• At least 5 years+ IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement.

• 3+ years’ in using industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques

• 3+ years’ experience in ERP solution implementation.

• Extensive experience of delivery that includes the use of supplier and off-shore development resources.

• Accreditation and practitioner experience of a range of Project Management approaches including PRINCE II, PMI, Agile, etc. Soft Skills/Behavioral Requirements

• Strong team working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams.

• Demonstrated experience working for large organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships.

• Proven ability to facilitate change management with teams.

• Good negotiation and resolution skills.

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

• Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual teams.

• Proven ability to thrive under pressure
