My client is a top-tier international law firm. In the course of expansion in the HK market, they're looking for a IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their HK office. You'll be joining a fast-paced environment to provide technology support to end users in a timely manner, together with a well-structured team.
about the job.- Resolve IT tickets in a timely manner and under a fast-paced environment. Understand the problem from end users and carry out a solution.
- Install, configure, update, and monitor internal systems, including Desktop OS, Server, and other industry-specific systems, such as time tracking software.
- Provide support on VDI setup and troubleshooting, e.g., Citrix, VMWare, Hyper-V, vSphere, etc.
- Assist in video conferences setup, putting together the hardwares and devices needed for the meeting, such as Teams and Zoom.
- Prepare the firm's IT policies and SOP. Provide basic IT training to users if needed.
skills & experiences required.- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant disciplines.
- 3 years of experience in the IT field. Understanding on how overall IT support works in a corporate environment.
- Able to speak and understand English is a must.
- Hands-on experience in supporting Windows OS, VMWare, Citrix, Teams, etc.
- Exposure on MDM systems, like Airwatch, Intune, etc.
- Knowledge and experience on backend infrastructure maintenance, e.g., server, vm server, hyper-v, vSphere, etc.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to understand and explain technical scenarios to end users.
