My client is a well-known business and they are currently looking for an IT Director who has a strong track record and knowledge of AR/VR products and its design and development. This opportunity is also open to the candidates who would be interested in relocating to Hong Kong.

Act as the thought leaders in the department to lead the application team and 3D artists in both Hong Kong & China and participate in designing the AR/VR application architecture and overseeing the activities
Work closely with the senior business stakeholders to define, align and deliver the IT strategies, roadmap, policies, budget and action plans etc.
Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across applications development areas to provide technical oversight
Participate in team performance management in an agile environment and ensure the delivery will be on-time and the quality is able to meet the agreed standard
Review and manage manpower, budget, and timeline based on project priorities
Attend strategies and planning meetings with the leadership team and other senior stakeholders to serve as a subject matter expert and suggest workable solutions for the business needs
Advise and suggest new solutions to the business based on the market trend and customer feedbacks

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/Business Administration or related discipline
Strong experience working in relevant organizations/industries at managerial level with proven track record of designing and developing AR/VR application products
Strong understanding of Unity and AR technologies and frameworks such as ARCore and ARKit
Strong understanding of 3D modeling and texturing work-flows
Strong understanding of SDLC, mobile application development, object-oriented programming (OOP) and IT policies etc.
Knowledge of the best industry practices and standards in AR/VR areas
Good interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills
PMP/CSM Certification is a plus
Proficient in spoken and written English; Chinese speaking is a plus is preferable
