My client is a well-known insurance company in Hong Kong and they are currently looking for an IT Associate Director who has a strong track record in digital products such as web/mobile application development.

Translate business requirements for defining and advocating product strategy, roadmap, and user stories for the digital platforms
Review and manage manpower, budget, and timeline based on project priorities
Analyze the application performance via data and customer feedback and suggest new solutions to improve the customer experience based on the market trend
Participate in performance management of application development team/3rd parties vendors to ensure the delivery will be on-time and the quality is able to meet the agreed standard
Define the business value for each feature added to the product by ROI analysis, prepare acceptance criteria in conjunction with other teams, and support the delivery of these features
Gather requirements from senior stakeholders to determine the underlying business process required to support the user stories defined and the development of business cases to ensure that there is clarity on the benefits expected and these can be measured clearly

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/Business Administration or related discipline
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the IT sector especially for planning and delivering large-scale application projects; prior insurance/banking/financial services background/project experience is a must
Broad experience in various technologies/domains including but not limited to application, project implementation & delivery, data analysis, BI tools, etc.
Good understanding of the best industry practices and standards
With strong business sense and ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders at all levels effectively by translating technical ideas into simple language
Good interpersonal, presentation analytical, and problem-solving skills
PMP certification is a plus
Proficient in spoken Cantonese/Mandarin and English is preferable
