Responsibilities:
- Investment Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine our investment strategy, identifying key sectors, emerging trends, and promising investment opportunities.
- Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Proactively source potential investment opportunities through various channels, including industry networks, referrals, and partnerships. Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective companies, assessing their market potential, competitive landscape, financials, and growth prospects.
- Investment Execution: Lead the end-to-end investment process, including structuring deals, negotiating terms, conducting valuation analysis, and preparing investment memos. Collaborate closely with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Portfolio Management: Actively monitor and manage the performance of portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive growth and value creation. Provide strategic guidance, participate in board meetings, and leverage your network to identify opportunities for collaboration and expansion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful investments and portfolio management. TMT focus would be a plus
- Solid financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good commands in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English is a must
