Asset management entity of a stable financial institution

about the team.

You would be siting in the front office working alongside with experienced portfolio managers

about the job.

Set up investment risk control indicators/limits in Bloomberg according to the company's overall risk appetite, investment asset allocation proposals, investment mandates, etc.
Regularly monitor and report the indicators/limits to ensure within defined appetite and limits
Identify and escalate all emerging issues, gather relevant information and assist the team to derive potential mitigation actions and solutions
Assist to assess the underlying risk of all investment proposals
Measure and assess portfolio risk and performance across different asset classes and investment strategies/funds
Perform performance attribution / contribution and active risk analysis, provide relevant support for asset allocation and portfolio adjustment
As the investment risk first line department, work closely with the company’s risk team (second line) to jointly control investment risk
Prepare regular reports to investment team, the company’s management team and investment committees
Manage projects such as investment governance framework, policy and rules update and investment process improvement
Other auxiliary work such as audit, compliance, investment research, etc.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
At least 1-2 years of risk management experience within the financial services industry; prior experience with investment or market risk or investment performance attribution/contribution would be a plus;
Experience in Big4 consultancy would also be considered
Proficient in Bloomberg AIM system is an advantage but not a must
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
Strong eagerness to learn and improve
