About our client

Our client is a global consumer product distributor, specialized in houseware products.

They are looking for an International Sales Manager to be based in Hong Kong, looking after American (South) and Asian markets (offline & online, direct to consumer).

You will participate in creating a route-to-market structure by incorporating digital/eCommerce strategies, leading local sales managers to drive sales in all channels and align global brand standards, growing markets internationally, establishing online channels from scratch.

Job Descriptions

  • Manage sales in assigned markets (global) in retail and online channels
  • Establish distributor network to support company’s business in key markets
  • Develop annual sales plans to ensure achievement of company revenue and margin objectives
  • Work with demand planning team to forecast inventory requirements for top accounts and markets
  • Work with Commercial teams to create an exciting strategy and plan for the International business that will define direction and focus on consumer & customer centric sales
  • Lead development of annual account business plans, setting clear growth priorities across categories and product lines
  • Work with Channel Marketing on new distribution, pricing and merchandising priorities
  • Market and customer segmentation and prioritization to focus Sales, Channel Marketing and Product and Brand Marketing resources
  • Working with direct manager to clearly define objectives and KPIs (revenue, margin, distribution, display, pricing) and establish regular reporting and performance management process to ensure attainment of goals while continuously striving for improvement
  • Recognize with foresight, and quickly assimilate competitive, consumer and channel insights and turn into action
  • Identify and develop new channels and new business opportunities in market
  • Utilize customer relationships and have sound working knowledge of the major multiple channel, taking full responsibility for the effective management of each account

Requirements

  • Degree holder
  • Eligible to work in Hong Kong
  • Over 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in FMCG / household products
  • Team leader
  • Experienced in transforming business from offline to online
  • Ability to develop strong buyer relations with key international accounts (preferably North and South American & Asian markets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a more entrepreneurial environment – able to deal with complexity and low resource based
  • Possesses a can-do attitude and hungry for results
